Val d’Isère, is the exclusive
holder of all intellectual property rights
concerning both the structure and the content
of the Web site or has legally acquired the
rights to operate the structure and the content
of the Web site, without limitation.
Lodge At Val concedes
to the user the right to use the Web site
and the Service for the user’s personal
requirements, with the exclusion of any commercial
use.
With the exception of the above-mentioned
rights conceded to the user, copying, reproducing,
representing, modifying or operating all or

any way whatsoever and for whatsoever purpose

2) The tree-structure, general layout and
entire contents of the site of the LAV company,
are protected by the Code of Intellectual Property,
in particular regarding copyright, ownership
of drawings and models, and brand names.
The LAV company is therefore the owner of
the rights, titles and interests whether connected
or not to the name of Lodge At Val
The copyright, the notices, the database,
the articles and all elements subject to intellectual
property protection are the exclusive property
of the LAV company.
The brand names, symbols, drawings and models,
and all elements subject to brand name protection
are also the exclusive property of the LAV
company.
3) Any use of the name of Lodge At Val, of
its symbols or of any other element belonging
to the shareholders of the LAV company is prohibited,
except in the case of prior authorisation from
the said company.
The use of hypertext links connecting to
the site http://www.lodge-at-val.com is prohibited,
except in the case of express prior authorisation
from LAV, if this link connects to any other
page than the home page of the site.
4) In application of the French Code of Intellectual
Property, and more generally of the international
treaties and agreements concerning copyright
protection, you undertake not to reproduce,
apart from private use, not to sell, distribute,
broadcast, diffuse, adapt, modify, publish,
communicate, in full or in part, in any form
whatsoever, the data, the presentation or the
organisation of the site or the works protected
by copyright or by brand name registration
which appear on the Web site http://Lodge At
Val, without prior written particular authorisation
from the holder of the copyright and the owner
of the brand names linked to the work, to the

5) Any reproduction of the contents without

rights is illegal and constitutes the penal
offence of counterfeiting.
Unauthorised reproduction of the notices
and symbols of the LAV company has already
twice been the subject of successful prosecution
in courts of law:
a court order delivered
by the “Tribunal
de Grande Instance” (Regional Court)
of Paris on 9 January 2002 judged that the
reproduction of notices of employment vacancies
belonging to the LAV company, without the authorisation
of this company, constituted a parasite activity
leading to illegal detriment; a court order
delivered by the Commercial Court of Paris
on 16 October 2002 sentenced a company to withdraw
from its Web site all notices of the LAV company,
reproduced without the authorisation of this
company, and to suppress all reference to the
partners of LAV, the symbols of LAV and of
its partners; and finally to suppress any hypertext
link connecting to the site of the LAV company
or to that of its partners.
